When thieves try to break in its because there’s something worth stealing inside

Your mind – your body – the fortress to YOU- is your living space while your here on this planet…

How does the enemy break in? Well…he has to be able to penetrate your living space! He does it with negative thoughts, evil thoughts, lustful thoughts- anything that does not set well with what your supposed to be doing or that you know is probably wrong. More examples include jealousy, that envy you get when you look at things that you want but do not have which create resentment…anger oh this is a big one. Feelings of doubt, deception these can breed some pretty nasty effects.

TIP: Consider what you are thinking and feeling. What is it breeding inside of you? What can the consequences be? What do you stand to lose or gain? This pause for exploration can give you an insight to things vulnerable to spiritual attacks.

Satan cannot do anything to you without your consent. He can’t make you do anything he needs your cooperation. He will make things look oh so good just to influence or control you and then you got more problems….negativity breeds more negativity. …stick with this and read on…

What about your body though? Substances that aren’t good for you – alcohol in excess, for some just one drop of it, drugs, excessive junk food….What are the consequences? Pause. Dig deep. ….are you getting the bigger picture?

Oh yes he does

What is inside of you that he wants so bad? Ultimately it’s your soul but let’s scratch this surface a little bit and see what we can find out… then we can answer these questions….

What do you have that he can destroy? Is it your sanity? Your chance an abundant life? Your sobriety? Your emotions?(oh he loves to manipulate people in this area) or maybe it’s your peace, health, job, any happiness you have- you better believe he wants it all! His job is to hurt, steal, kill, destroy you and everything you love in a manner as painfully as possible – this is what the Bible says about that -in John 10:10

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. Look the verse up!

The “I” in this verse is Jesus. He wants you to have an abundant life but since you are “here” you will be exposed to the many evils here…

And yes Satan is watching – this verse explains

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour

Think about that for a moment….Visualize…

How do you stop it? I’m no expert but I have had more than my share of rodeos in this department and the way I started to change my life and identify what was going on was to first identify what it was that was at stake. What was trying to be destroyed? What was the enemy after? Thieves don’t break into empty houses and it wasn’t until I began making positive choices going in Gods direction that I became very very aware of the spiritual battle going on! My house (body)was already emptied out everything except for the air going in and out of my lungs and the will to change from the inside out and when I started making leaps and bounds in a positive direction did I really start to feel the burn of the enemy. I’m sure he was mad I wasn’t just plain dead – that told me there was something growing that intimidated him.

By taking a personal inventory of myself it was then that I started to really see the battle around me. And also to realize what I had! Talk about gratitude!

I’m sure you will see a lot more articles on this within the ministry blog, but before I close I want to point out something in Proverbs 4:23 which says “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” You will see endless opinions of what this means. Now break down the individual words and think about this deeply.

By watching what you allow into our life, your mind, your body and guarding the output as the result you can greatly steer your life.

Abundance- look to Jesus!

Think about the last time you got into a spat with someone and then you say something you regret….or could have said differently….different things have different outcomes. Just think about that for a bit. I pray that this reaches anyone who needs to see this today and that God blesses you! Thanks for the visit and I’ll be back later!
